Also called: Dental CT scan report
Cone-beam computed tomography systems are a variation of traditional computed tomography (CT) systems. These systems are often used by dental professionals. Cone Beam CT machines do an X-ray while having a cone-shaped beam scan around the patient.
This is used to create a three-dimensional image from the scans of your teeth, your mouth, jaw, and neck, and ears, nose and throat. The resulting report requires special training to interpret the results correctly.
